A 24-year-old Melbourne man accused of having sex with dogs, goats and horses has failed to have details of the case suppressed.

Steven Whittam, of Langwarrin, faces 19 charges of bestiality over incidents which allegedly took place between January 2001 and June 2006 in suburbs across Melbourne's south-east.

SEX and assault charges will be laid within weeks over the Werribee DVD gang attack on a girl that shocked Australia.
Detectives are finalising a brief for the Office of Public Prosecutions to consider before charges are laid early next month.

Thousands of Melbourne commuters were last night sent a chilling SMS from Connex telling them that ticket inspectors loved killing people and would help bomb a train.

Connex says it will prosecute those who hacked into its computer system and texted the message. The rail operator was swamped by calls from subscribers to its SMS which usually informs them when trains are cancelled or delayed. They were surprised to get the message: "ALLAHU AKBR FROM CONNEX!" which flashed across their phone screens about 9.45pm.

Victoria Police have confirmed a fourth man has been charged over the slaying of gangland patriarch Lewis Moran.

A police spokesman today said information about the fourth man could not be revealed, due to a suppression order.
